Health, Happiness, and Longevity Through Yoga – Dr. Umar Alisha

As part of the 21‑day celebrations for International Yoga Day 2026, the inaugural ceremony was held at the Maharshi Mohiuddin Badsha Jnana Sabha Mandiram in Pithapuram. The event was presided over by Peethadhipathi Dr. Umar Alisha, who emphasized that consistent yoga practice leads to better health, inner happiness, and long life.

Chief Guest Dr. Makala Satyanarayana highlighted the importance of yoga for maintaining physical fitness. He encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a daily habit, noting its effectiveness in reducing pain and improving overall wellbeing.

Speaking as a guest, Vangara Renuka Devi, Krishna District Convenor of the Pithapuram Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust, stated that yoga has gained global recognition due to the initiative of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She added that the state’s coalition government has also earned appreciation through programs conducted under the banner of Yogandhra.

Dr. Makala Satyanarayana, Founder Chairman of the Yoga Shakti Sadhana Samithi, Vijayawada, shared that their organization has helped many individuals find relief from pain and has distributed Modi Health Care Sticks as part of their service activities. He announced that yoga celebrations will continue for the next 20 days.

On this occasion, Dr. Umar Alisha honored Dr. Makala Satyanarayana with a special felicitation for his contributions.
